Cakes, cocktails and castles.

That’s what’s on offer these school holidays at Mary Eats Cake in Montrose, which is holding a fairytale-themed high tea just in time for the school holidays.

A special treat for the little princes and princesses in your life, the themed high tea includes a range of activities and delightfully themed food to keep your little ones entertained.

Sarah De Witt, owner at Mary Eats Cake, Montrose, invited parents to bring their kids along.

“It was about putting on a special event, for the communities out this way,” Ms De Witt said.

“It’s a fairytale-themed high tea for the first week of the school holidays.

“There’s a big buffet of high tea, cupcakes, cookies, popcorn … there’s also a live show fomr a local fairy who will be doing a magic show, and a craft area with facepainting.”

“It’s just a really nice time and offers all the things that your kids can enjoy for a special occasion.”

There will be plenty of sweet and savoury nibbles for parents, too, including the opportunity to have some quiet tea away from all the fairytale excitement

Though, Ms De Witt said parents were quite welcome to dress up too.
