Mountain spirit lives on

Twenty years after the Spirit of the Mountain concert was held to acknowledge the impact of the Mount Dandenong bushfires, Tecoma Primary School students have got together to commemorate the occasion.
The students recently performed Island in the Sky, which was written about the bushfires and which featured on Melbourne news programs at the time.
As a surprise, the students performed the song for Phil Splitter and Susie Davies-Splitter who had helped to perform the original song.
