A FANTASTIC craft shop managed by ‘local girl, born and bred’, Jade McEntee opened last February in Main Street, Monbulk.
Not just limited to one craft, Mrs McEntees Crafts offers all craft enthusiasts a wide range of activities and projects to keep them busy for hours. However, scrapbooking is a favourite hobby of Jade who started scrapbooking five years ago following the birth of her children. Jade also gained a sound knowledge of beading and cross-stitch after working for a leading importer of these products.
“I encourage customers to try different ways of scrapbooking such as displaying their work on wall frames and calendars, not just sticking pages in a book,” said Jade.
“I specialise in the quality K & Company scrapbooking products with ranges that cover birth, teenagers, adults and weddings and include products suitable for both boys and girls.”
Beading, cardmaking cross-stitch and needlecraft supplies are also stocked as well as a range of giftware, soaps, frames, photo albums, address books, kids woollen jumpers and jewellery.
Children’s birthday invitations, unique handmade cards and birth announcement stationery are another specialty at Mrs McEntees Crafts.
“I have also started to get into the haberdashery side of sewing with zips, cotton, buttons, elastic, etc and if I haven’t got what customers want in store, I will order it in,” said Jade.
