MONBULK played 24 pennant rinks over the week. The conditions were cold and windy. The teams all put in their best effort giving the following results.
Ladies Competition:
Monbulk Yellow played Yarra Junction Red at Monbulk. They didn’t win any rinks with a score of Monbulk Yellow 15 to Yarra Junction Red 50.
Monbulk Maroon played Yarra Junction Orange at Yarra Junction. They didn’t win any rinks with a score of Monbulk Maroon 16 to Yarra Junction Orange 20.
Men’s Competition:
Monbulk Division 1 played Yarra Glen at Monbulk. They won two rinks out of four with a score of Monbulk 93 to Yarra Glen 92 resulting in a pennant score of 14.
Monbulk Division 5 played Boronia at Boronia. They drew one rink out of four with a score of Monbulk 69 to Boronia 107 resulting in a pennant score of 1.
Monbulk Division 7 played Vermont South at Monbulk. They won three rinks out of four with a score of Monbulk 96 to Vermont South 66 resulting in a pennant score of 16.
