FERNTREE Gully Hotel is set to serve up a week of fun and laughter with performances from comedian Dave Hughes and an ’80s reunion show.
Starting off a big week of entertainment, Mr Hughes will keep people in stitches at his show on Thursday, 30 November. Tickets cost $30.
Audiences will also be transported back to the 1980s with the Ultimate Reunion Party, featuring Brian Mannix of Uncanny X-Men, Scott Carne from Kids in the Kitchen, Ron Martini of Dear Enemy and solo artist Paul Newton.
These ultimate ’80s lead singers will be backed by an all-star band including musicians from The Sharp, Big Pig and The Black Sorrows.
In the ’80s the Uncanny X-Men were one of Australia’s most successful and outrageous bands with hits including 50 Years, The Party and Everybody Wants to Work.
Kids in the Kitchen frontman Scott Carne rode the new wave of pop with hits such as Shine, Change in Mood and Bitter Desire, while solo artist Paul Newton was reaching the top of the charts with his debut single Stuck on You and Ron Martini of Dear Enemy reached great heights with songs such as Computer One and The Good Life.
Hills residents can catch all of these tunes and much more at the Ultimate ’80s Reunion Party on Friday, 1 December, at the Ferntree Gully Hotel, 1130 Burwood Highway.
Tickets cost $41 for dinner and the show or $26 for just the show.
