A dream of a delicatessen

By Libby Wood
A DREAM of one day creating a very special delicatessen has finally been realised by Grace Kusnierz.
When a shop in Kilvington Drive became vacant, Ms Kusnierz’s long-held idea became reality when her new business venture, Emerald Delicatessen, opened recently.
Brimming with tempting deli fare such as a range of smallgoods, continental grocery items, a large variety of cheeses, quality sweets and chocolates and more, the Emerald Deli is a welcome addition to the village shopping precinct.
Christmas gifts such as special chocolates can also be found and the deli staff are taking orders for a wonderful selection of platters for any occasion.
With a strong passion for what it sells, the family owned and run business is focused on the needs of its customers.
“Our family has grown up on the products in the deli and we hope our passion is reflected in our approach and enthusiasm,” said Ms Kusnierz.
“We want to cater for our clientele in every way possible.
“We therefore encourage suggestions from customers and are listening to feedback.
“We have tried to create an atmosphere in our store which is warm and welcoming and we want to provide a high level of service and quality of products,” she said.
Emerald Delicatessen is at Shop 11, 5 Kilvington Drive, (off Heroes Avenue) Emerald, and is open 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 3pm Sunday.
