Resolve to celebrate

By Tania Martin
HILLS people can celebrate the dawning of another year with some blues music, a picnic at SkyHigh or a dinner dance in Ferny Creek.
Many resolutions will be made and broken as people gather to rein in the New Year.
People can bring along a picnic rug and sit on the front lawn at SkyHigh Mt Dandenong and enjoy the magnificent views of Melbourne.
Or those wanting to enjoy a scrumptious dinner should book a table at SkyHigh’s bistro now because there are only a few bookings left.
Dinner at the bistro will be a six course set menu and costs $80 per head.
To make a booking call 9751 0443.
People can take a step back in time and join the dinner dance at the Ferny Creek Reserve Hall where ‘60s band Marcie Jones and the Cookies will entertain the crowd.
Tickets cost $35 per person and people can bring their own nibbles, drinks and glasses and coffee and tea will be provided.
To make a book call 9755 1838.
Those wanting to rein in the new year with a bit of blues music should check out the Aztec Bar Lounge Café in Belgrave.
The Ben Butcher Blue Trio will entertain the crowd with some of their original blues music.
For more information about the night contact the Aztec Bar Lounge Café on 9754 1004.
