KNOX residents will have their say on the municipality’s road network this month, with two community meetings at the Knox Civic Centre.
The council is encouraging residents and others who have an interest in the road to contribute to the recently drafted Road Asset Management Plan.
Knox mayor Jim Penna said: “The purpose of the plan is to provide council with a strategic, operational and financial direction for its local road network.”
The first public meeting will be held on Monday, 26 February from 6-8pm, with a focus on informing the community about the plan itself.
The subsequent community workshop on Wednesday, 28 February, will provide an opportunity for the public to offer their opinion and comment on the plan.
Residents or stakeholders interested in attending these meetings, or acquiring further information, should contact Knox council on 9298 8501 or visit the council website.
