Training to treat the whole being

OPEN Hands Holistic Living and Learning College offers a range of courses.
“The diploma in holistic counselling course is a journey on its own, to learn how to live holistically, be holistic and to be able to facilitate others holistically,” said college staff.
“With limited class numbers the college is able to offer a nurturing environment to process experientially.
“This hands-on course is designed to experience and practise processing and tools for wellbeing and to be introduced to modalities to enhance even further support.”
Meditation teacher training provides training in the skills to guide others in the art of meditation and is a six-module hands-on course.
“This form of meditation has been especially created to focus on the whole person and to create a tool of communication and healing,” said staff.
“The many and unlimited meditations are created for the wellbeing of ourselves and others.
“It is a journey to teach others to travel into other realms to experience symbology, teachings, healing and inner awareness.”
Children’s Whisperer Training is a highly spiritual form of healing and is designed for those wishing to take their work with children to higher levels.
“The course is still very holistic from the point of view of the child, working with the wellbeing of the mind, body, heart and soul,” said staff.
“The facilitator, however, is connecting to a higher vibration of healing to which attunement and connection enables a sharing with the child that assists the child into moving into other levels of wellbeing, letting go, recreation, deep peace and joy.”
Children’s holistic training courses from certificate to diploma levels have been designed to assist people who are working and or living with children to facilitate children holistically. “The processes, ideas, games, meditations, group activities and expressive play have been created and designed as tools and creative gifts to use with children in a holistic way,” said staff.
“At Open Hands we teach reiki I, II and master the traditional way.
“It is our belief that by teaching reiki this way you are able to fully benefit from the teachings and living reiki. At Open Hands we also offer holistic counselling for the whole family and being holistic, we have many healing modalities available as well as a variety of products from our stores.”
