MONBULK Police are concerned about the disappearance of 65-year-old local resident Noel Eyles.
Sergeant Alan Fincher said that Mr Eyles was last seen at home in David Hill Road, Monbulk, at 9am on Wednesday, 9 May.
“Mr Eyles suffers from depression and has not been taking his medication for several days,” Sgt Fincher said.
“He previously went missing in October and was located in an abandoned house in an emaciated and dehydrated state after a period of six weeks.”
Police are asking that members of the public, particularly in the hills area surrounding Monbulk, assist the search for Mr Eyles by checking sheds and outbuildings on their properties.
“Mr Eyles spends lengthy periods of time walking local roads and tracks,” Sgt Fincher said.
“We have been actively checking isolated locations but if anyone knows of buildings that could possibly be utilised by Mr Eyles, could they contact Monbulk Police on or Police Missing Persons.”
