Stingrays stage fightback

SHERBROOKE Rangers Under 13 Stingrays made the comeback of the season when they trailed North Blackburn 2-0 at half time.
However, the Stingrays refused to surrender and the “never say die” attitude that coach Skeet has instilled into the side over the past four seasons once again paid dividends.
Facing what looked like certain defeat the Stingrays banded together and attacked at every possible moment.
They moved the ball around with pace and precision causing the opponents to lose their dominance. Sensing their opponent’s loss of confidence, the Stingrays struck two quick goals in the first 15 minutes of the second half to draw level and from that moment onwards, the game became a test of nerves as to who would crack under the pressure.
The Stingrays made the right moves with a great piece of defence that opened an opportunity for the midfield to run the ball down with pace and with a lovely pass to the striker.
The end was made complete with a goal that could not be stopped. Victory to the Stingrays.
