Science lights up

Kids from the Sherbrooke Multiple Birth Association took part in a science day as part of their school holiday program.
Resident science guru Rebecca Austin showed the kids how to make a homemade lava lamp, the basics of electrical circuits and how magnets work.
Asking several questions along the way, the kids shocked their mums and dads with their science knowledge about magnetic fields and the separating properties of oil and water.
Committee member Tracy Whittingham said SMBA put on various fun activities throughout the school holiday period to keep their kids entertained.
