GREAT food and thirst-quenching drinks entice customers to drop in to The Do Drop In Cafe Wine Bar at Emerald.
From fresh juices, homemade Devonshire teas and special cakes to steak sandwiches, the food at The Do Drop In is “good old home cooking with foods available for everyone”.
“Our great steak sandwiches are the best in town and so is our coffee,” said manager Connie, who has been involved in the food industry for more than 30 years.
“Everything is made here including the mayo, pesto and jams.
“We offer vegetarian and gluten free foods and a new range of fresh Chai teas.”
The cafe is open seven days from 8am, closes at 4pm Sunday to Wednesday and stays open for dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
Thursday is Parmy night and for only $13, customers can order a Parma and a pot of beer or a wine.
Cafe owner Ron who took over the Emerald business late last year has upgraded the range of beer and now offers Grand Ridge beer on tap.
“The bar is open seven days a week and don’t forget our Happy Hour every Thursday and Friday from 6.30pm to 7.30pm,” he said.
“Also not to be missed on Thursday 14 February is our special Valentine’s Day dinner of a three-course meal and a bottle of wine for only $40 per head.”
Connie reminds mums about the mothers’ group special where mums can drop in while their children are at kinder, bring any younger ones and relax with a cup of coffee and a chat.
So do drop in to The Do Drop In Cafe Wine Bar at 369-371 Belgrave-Gembrook Road when next in Emerald and sample the home cooking and warm hospitality.
Make sure to get a coffee card, which gives customers every fifth coffee free.
