MONBULK College is set for a $3 million facelift if Labor wins the next election.
Victorian Labor has committed the money towards the refurbishment and replacement of classrooms to create 21st century spaces at the college.
Leader of the Opposition Daniel Andrews joined Monbulk MP James Merlino at the school to deliver the news to parents and teachers last week.
Mr Andrews said students can’t get a first-rate education in a second-rate classroom.
“These old classrooms have got to go,” he said.
Mr Merlino said Monbulk College is a great school that’s under a lot of pressure and that he hoped the upgrades would allow the school to improve its education.
