MONBULK Bowling Club’s three men’s sides have avoided relegation and will remain in their respective divisions next season.
In the Saturday pennant round 18 (last round for the season), Team 1 (Division 2) played away to Burwood District 2.
Monbulk: 0 points (69 shots) to Burwood, 18 points (115 shots). Skipper’s results: Ted Tratt’s down 2, Rob Wilson down 18, Andrew Bell down 21 and Brian Cadell down 5.
The Team 2 (Division 4) Monbulk side hosted Burden Park 4.
Monbulk 18 pts (143 shots) to Burden Park 0 points (74 shots).
Noel Thornhill up 31 had the winning rink of the week, while Bob Bailey was up 5, Bill Sales up 24 and Mike Harper up 9.
The Team 3 (Division 6) Monbulk played away against Mulgrave Country Club.
Monbulk 16 points (87 shots) to Mulgrave CC 2 points (84 shots).
