Up and ready for railway run

MONTHS of gruelling training will soon be over for hills runners as they take up the challenge to race Puffing Billy.
More than 3000 people will race the tourist train on Sunday in an annual fun run.
The Puffing Billy Great Train Race, now in its 27th year, is a test of endurance as runners race 13.2 kilometres against the steam train.
Following an increase in the number of entries, the race committee has capped the number of runners this year at 3000 people for safety reasons.
The race is one of the longest and most popular fun runs on the Australian running calendar.
The 13.2 kilometre dash from Belgrave to Emerald Lake Park will begin at 9.30am on Sunday 4 May.
