Grants to establish Men’s Shed

DANDENONG Ranges communities are encouraged to apply for grants to help build a new Men’s Shed.
The Victorian Government has made available $750,000 in funds for these invaluable initiatives, with grants of $60,000 available to help build new sheds.
The State Government will be targeting areas where there is deemed to be a high level of community need.
Minister for Families and Children, Jenny Mikakos, said funds could be used to construct a new shed, redevelop an existing building, or co-locate in a multifunction facility or hub.
Applications that demonstrate significant partnerships, and support from relevant community groups, are particularly encouraged to apply.
Applications close on 19 June this year.
