BEACONSFIELD Upper Primary School provides a vibrant learning and teaching environment which focuses on the successful engagement of students as active participants in learning life-long skills and knowledge that will prepare them for a society that will require good information and communication skills, independence and the ability to work effectively with others as a team.
The curriculum nurtures the potential of each student and encourages them to achieve their personal best in all aspects of life.
Principal Nick Karanzoulis said that he is proud of the pastoral care offered to students.
“We also value our close links with our community and continue to work as a team in our quest to achieve continuous improvement that will benefit our learning community,” he said.
Mr Karanzoulis invites all those interested to see the new learning centre in action.
The school has an Open Day and Tours tomorrow, Wednesday 21 May, from 9.15-11am at 40 Stoney Creek Road, Upper Beaconsfield.
Beaconsfield Upper Primary School comprises a new building with classrooms and the administration offices.
“Stage two of our Capital Works Project was completed in April this year,” Mr Karanzoulis said.
“The new building will provide us with flexible learning spaces including more new classrooms, a computer lab and an internal-external toilet block.
“The well maintained grounds and environmental programs offer student ownership of planting and sustainability of the environment.
“This ensures a nurturing supportive environment to stimulate student learning and a sense of belonging.
“The students at our school experience outstanding success in all areas including literacy, numeracy, the arts and the various sports.”
Beaconsfield Upper Primary School’s participation with the RACV Human Powered Vehicles (HPV) is well known and has been on going for the past 15 years.
