THE Mail is this week asking its readers to have their say on the recent debate regarding marriage equality in Australia.
The poll comes after La Trobe MP Jason Wood announced his office would be sending out a survey to households from 20-25 July, asking voters in his electorate to give their opinion on amending the Marriage Act to allow same-sex marriage.
Meanwhile, Casey MP, Tony Smith, has ruled out surveying his electorate on the matter.
The poll asks, ‘Based on what you know at this point in time, would you support or oppose allowing same-sex couples to marry in Australia?’
Readers have three choices from which to select: Oppose, Support or Undecided.
To have your say, visit www.surveymonkey.com/r/DPYD9JM.
Alternatively, send a letter to the editor at editor@mailnewsgroup.com.au.
The poll will close on 21 August at 10am.
