UNIT Leader at Mount Evelyn Girl Guides Emily Meades said Guides continues to be a fantastic path to inspire growth and resilience in girls, despite media reports about its decline.
Ms Meades said the girls who participate take delight in meeting their challenges and are instilled with a healthy sense of self.
“They learn great life-skills and learn about respect, reliability, confidence and leadership,” she said.
Ms Meades encouraged all those interested to inquire more about Guiding.
