THE Macclesfield Pony Club is showcasing a new cross country jumping circuit after it purchased a parcel of land adjacent to the club.
Secretary Suzan Williams said the land, on the corner of Kennedy and Tschampions Roads, already has some jumps in use and more would be built in the near future.
Ms Williams said the new cross country course would benefit both the beginners and more advanced riders in the club.
She said the land has cost the club $75, 000, which has been made possible by acquiring a loan.
Ms Williams said the land would be used on a monthly basis by the club for cross country jumping events.
She said the land would also be leased to a pony club member for the rest of time.
Ms Williams has invited anyone in the community who would like to sponsor a cross country jump to come along to watch the children in action.
The club holds rallies on the second Sunday of every month.
Anyone wishing to sponsor a jump should contact Suzan on 5968 9272.
