State times aplenty

PERSONAL bests and state times were the order of the day for the Monbulk Marlins, who competed at the Ringwood Long Course Meet on Sunday, 9 October.
It was one of the most successful swimming meets in recent years for the club.
Ten swimmers attended, they achieved a combined total of 30 personal best times and an incredible eight state times.
In addition, three swimmers were less than one second away from achieving state times.
Head coach Michelle was extremely happy with the results.
“The coaching team is so proud of our swimmers,” she said.
“It was a fantastic day and we’re excited to see all the hard training paying off.”
