Over the weekend, special thanks went out to the Yarra Ranges community volunteers who assisted with clean-up operations after the 9 October windstorm last year.
Yarra Ranges Council hosted an ‘Appreciation Barbecue’ at the Lilydale Lake Community Room on Saturday 11 February.
Emergency Management Commissioner Craig Lapsley and Yarra Ranges Mayor Noel Cliff were among those who expressed their gratitude.
The success of the community-led campaign highlighted the incredible work of community volunteers.
