The Treasure Corner op shop in Mount Evelyn bid farewell to a much-loved staff member on Friday 30 June. Manager Rae Tabone has worked at the popular shop over the past six years and is heading off to work in Coldstream with her husband. To give her a fitting send off, the Treasure Corner op shop hosted a farewell party, with volunteers and staff, former volunteers and many regular customers joining in the festivities. Rae told the ‘Mail’ she was humbled over the fantastic turn-out and that she had worked with some amazing people over the journey. ‘Mail’ editor Peter Douglas was on-hand to photograph the special occasion.
