GET into art with a free open day at Burrinja this Sunday.
The Upwey cultural centre will host family activities from 11am to 4pm as part of the annual statewide public galleries program Get Into Art.
The event is also an early birthday celebration for Burrinja, which turns 10 in December.
Visitors can celebrate arts, culture, performance, education and community as theyplay with clay, meet artists and tuck into a bush tucker barbecue.
Aboriginal art collection tours, wood sculpture and basket weaving demonstrations and live music will run all afternoon.
