HILLS artists are invited to participate in this year’s Dandenong Ranges Open Studios Weekend.
Now in its sixth year, the program allows artists to share their creations and work environment with the public in a rare interaction.
Burrinja executive officer Ross Farnell said the event was highly anticipated.
“It provides an inside look at our artists’ work environments as well as their art,” he said.
Many artists gain commissions for work, enrolments in workshops and ongoing exposure from participating.
This year, Open Studios Weekend will be held on 23 and 24 May.
Application forms and more information is available by calling Burrinja on 9754 8723 or sending an email to openstudios@burrinja.org.au. Applications close on 23 January.
