HILLS residents can get a free one-off green waste collection in a bid to fire-proof their properties.
People can either book a collection or take their green waste to the recycling facility in Pakenham until 13 March.
Those wanting to access this service should call the council on 1300 787 624 to book a collection or request a free tip voucher.
