TRAINS both big and small will keep young and old entertained for hours at Sandown Racecourse this weekend.
The annual model railway exhibition promises to impress, with more than 60 displays and stalls on show.
From small scale to large gauge, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
Model railway owners will travel far and wide to attend the exhibition, with displays from New South Wales, South Australia and country Victoria.
Demonstrations of how to build model railway layouts, railway buildings and locomotives will also keep enthusiasts and kids entertained.
The Puffing Billy Preservation Society will have a stand at the exhibition.
But it is not all just about the trains, with plenty of other fun, family filled activities available.
The children will be kept entertained with the trains, rides and great food on offer.
The exhibition will be held on the Labour Day holiday from Saturday 7 March to Monday 9 March.
It will open from 10am to 6pm on Saturday, 10am to 5pm on Sunday and from 10am to 4pm on Monday.
Tickets cost $7 for adults and $4 for children under 16.
The exhibition will be held at the Sandown Racecourse, 591 to 659 Princes Highway in Springvale.
