THE Ferntree Gully Hotel is proud to present three of Australia’s best male artists before Christmas. Ben Lee, Jon English and Jimmy Barnes are all scheduled to perform over the next two weeks.
Nominated for six ARIA awards, and taking home four, Ben Lee shared the bragging rights at this years ARIA’S with Missy Higgins. Awards won included Single of the Year with Catch my Disease, Best Independent Release, and Best Male Artist. Ben hits the stage on Tuesday, 29 November.
Ably assisted by special guests Sparkadia, a night of great entertainment is assured. Doors open at 8pm, with Ben on stage by 9:30pm.
On Thursday, 1 December, we welcome one of the few Australian performers to successfully combine a career in music, television and stage, Jon English.
Performing in a cabaret setting, tickets are available for both dinner and show from 6:30pm at $45 or show only at $25.
Jon will be performing a vast array of hits from his long career in a non-smoking environment, and will meet and greet with the audience after the show.
After a sold out show back in August, we have bought back Jimmy Barnes for one final Show for 2005. With the recent release of his chart topping “Double Happiness” album, and induction into the ARIA Hall of Fame as a solo artist, Jimmy remains a powerhouse, indeed, icon in the Australian music scene.
Mahalia Barnes and her band will warm the crowd up, and this in itself is an act not to be missed, with Jimmy and his powerhouse band rockin’ the room afterwards.
