FERNTREE Gully Bowling Club, nestled in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, has much to offer local senior citizens.
Three state of the art synthetic bowling greens cater for the beginner to the more experienced bowler.
Pennant games are played from October to March for both men and women.
Mixed carpet bowls is played in the cooler months on a Tuesday. Free coaching is available.
First year full membership of the club is only $25 and social membership is $37.
The bistro caters for seniors, with two-course seniors meals only $11.
The bistro is open seven nights for dinner from 6pm to 9pm and lunch from Tuesday to Friday and Sunday from 12 noon to 2.30pm.
Seniors groups are catered for and made most welcome.
Once a month on a Saturday evening the club holds a night of entertainment which includes a three-course seniors meal.
On Saturday 28 March “Don and Dave” are entertaining seniors with their fabulous music, magic and comedy and good, clean, old-fashioned entertainment for just $20 per person.
