Foot problems nailed down

BEACONSFIELD Podiatry offers a vital service for people with foot and leg problems or sports injuries.
Founder and foot doctor Steven Hainsworth has more than 26 years’ experience in the industry.
His clinic at shop 7/70 Old Princes Highway even has an onsite laboratory.
Mr Hainsworth treats a whole range of foot problems from calluses to ingrown toenails, foot pain and shin splints.
His practice also specialises in orthotics and treating fungal nails.
Mr Hainsworth said orthotics were vital for people with foot problems such as heal spurs, high arches and other injuries.
He has a whole range from ready made orthotics to ones that could be made to suit individuals.
“We have our own podiatry lab here and we manufacture them on-site,” he said.
“It’s a better process than sending them out to get them moulded and returned to make adjustments.”
Mr Hainsworth also makes orthotics for kids and treats a lot of footballers.
Beaconsfield Podiatry offers great service and advice to anyone needing help with foot or leg pain.
The clinic is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and Saturday mornings from 10am to noon.
Appointments are available by calling 9707 4922.
