The annual Pet Expo is on again at Pakenham Produce and Saddlery where pets of all sizes and shapes are catered for in an exciting day of prizes and give-aways, pet information and products, entertainment and family fun.THE ‘Pakenham Produce and Saddlery’s Pet Expo’ is on again.
This will be the sixth year Pakenham Produce has run the ‘Expo’ and this year will coincide with the first birthday celebrations in the new shop.
With lots of free goodies and stuff and super specials on the day, children and adults alike will enjoy the petting zoo, wildlife babies, mini ponies and much more.
Kalinda Knox of Pakenham Produce said the aim of the day was to “have fun with our pets, give the people of the community some valuable information and to also let people know what we’re all about at Paky Produce”.
“Each year the expo gets bigger and better and this year is no exception,” she said.
“Bring your animals down to the corner of Bald Hill Road and Bormar Drive on Saturday, 3 October, from 10am until 2pm.
“Everyone is welcome to join in the fun of the mini-pet show, talk to the experts, have your dogs weighed and wormed free, and enjoy the free sausage sizzle.”

The spacious showroom stocks a huge range of dog, cat and small animal feeds along with rugs, beds, toys, kennels and just about everything to make sure your pet lives the life of luxury.
Visitors on the day can check out the fascinating exhibits by Bark Busters, Gippsland Rabbit Fanciers Association, the Border Collie Club, Victorian Ferret Fanciers as well as cats, dogs and mini ponies. There will be many prizes to be won on the day, along with experts on hand to discuss your pet’s needs.
