Snippets: Middle-eastern feast to support seekers of asylum

A middle-eastern feast will be held at the Emerald Senior Citizens Centre on Sunday 3 April to raise funds to support seekers of asylum.

The feast will be held from 1pm, with a $25 dollar donation on entry. Bookings from 1 April are essential.

BYO drinks with a raffle at the event and music by Josh Licht. David Spitteler from the Asylum Seekers Centre in Dandenong is a guest speaker.

Emerald Senior Citizens Centre is located at 8 Church Street Emerald.

The event is supported by Casey Grandmothers 4 Refugees, The Social Justice Group of the Catholic Parish in the Dandenong Ranges and David Spitteler of the Asylum Seeker Centre Dandenong.
