CHILDREN can join the magical journey of Alice in Wonderland this week as the Adlib Children’s theatre brings the story to life at the Burrinja Gallery in Upwey.
In this production the children will discover the wonderful characters from the enchanted tail of Wonderland such as the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, and the Mock Turtle.
Adapted from the Lewis Carroll children’s story, Alice in Wonderland is about a young girl who follows the White Rabbit who disappears down a nearby rabbit burrow.
Following the rabbit, Alice enters the merry and topsy-turvy world of Wonderland.
During the school holidays children and adults from around the hills can take a journey back to their childhood through the eyes of their children and experience the magic of Adlib Children’s Theatre.
Ablib Theatre shows have been produced all around Melbourne for the past seven years and are an essential part of any school holiday calendar.
Following the excitement of the Wonderland experience, the children can also meet with and get autographs from all their favourite characters after the show.
The shows will be held at the Burrinja Gallery in Glenfern Road, Upwey, from Wednesday, 11 January to Friday, 13 January at 11am and 2pm, and on Saturday, 14 January at 2pm.
Bookings are essential and can be made by calling 5941 1627
