MONBULK Veterinary Clinic has added another vet to the staff, and it’s just in time for the busy clinic.
The clinic has recently extended its opening hours to include Saturday mornings to accommodate busy pet owners.
The other news is that Dr Gemma le Maistre will be marrying her partner Mike in November, and the staff are looking forward to the big day.
Dr le Maistre was delighted to announce the arrival of Dr Naomi Pickering BVSc (Hons)(Melb) to join the clinic staff.
Dr Pickering has spent the past three years working at a large practice in Portland, in rural Victoria.
Naomi has extensive experience in treating a diverse range of animals, from native and pet birds to ‘pocket pets’ (rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents etc) and, of course, the more frequent patients – dogs, cats, sheep, cattle and goats.
Naomi also works as a veterinary surgeon for Parks Victoria and over the past few years has been part of a team implementing a native animal health program, microchipping and sterilising the koala population.
The clinic is now open 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays.
A second consultation room has been set up with the addition of Dr Pickering, so clients shouldn’t be surprised if they’re taken through a new doorway.
Monbulk Veterinary Clinic can be contacted on 9752 1001 and offers veterinary consultations, surgery, treatment, premium quality pet food, advice, grooming, micro-chipping and puppy pre-school.
