Fun, in and

MONBULK Aquatic Centre has a range of activities – water and land based – available over the holiday break to keep everyone active and entertained.
Monbulk Aquatic Centre is a great place to be during summer. With an undercover pool and shady grassed backyard, it’s an ideal environment for families to spend the day without the worry of sunburn.
A holiday swim program from 10 to 14 January will focus on stroke correction and water safety.
Classes of 45 minutes start at 9am and are for children aged at least three and cost $52.
A DJ will take up a prime position by the pool from 1pm to 4pm on 14 January. A sausage sizzle and an inflatable pool will add to the fun day, which costs $3.50.
On fun family Fridays, 21 and 28 January, $4.80 pays for entry to the pool and use of the inflatable from noon to 2pm.
A youth gym is available to people aged 13 to 18 years from noon to 2pm on Mondays 10, 17 and 24 January, and Thursdays 13, 20 and 27 January. It costs $4.10 and is supervised by a fitness instructor.
The group fitness and aqua summer timetable will resume on 10 January with something for everyone, from pilates to boxing and water aerobics.
Visit Monbulk Aquatic Centre’s website or drop by to pick up their summer holiday timetable.
The centre will open every day except Christmas Day. Visit www.monbulkaquatic.com.au for more details.
An adult/guardian must actively supervise children aged under 10 at all times.
Parents need to make sure their children can contact them at all times on high fire risk days, because there is a chance Monbulk Aquatic Centre might close. Parents would need to get to the centre within 10 minutes of receiving a call.
Monbulk Aquatic Centre is located at Baynes Park Road and can be contacted on 9756 6227.
