NARRE Warren South Tennis Club has bought much-needed equipment including computers, air conditioners and refrigerators with their 2010 volunteer’s grant.
They are one of 35 local organisations to do so with their grant of more than $1000.
Holt MP Anthony Byrne recently met with representatives of the club.
“The team is a great example of how volunteers can enrich our sporting and cultural life,” Mr Byrne said.
Narre Warren South Tennis Club member, Julie Jenner, said it was a welcome relief to buy equipment that was essential to the running of an organisation.
