NARRE Warren North MP Luke Donnellan has brought forward the issue of insufficient afternoon school bus services at Berwick Secondary College before State Parliament, calling on the Minister for Public Transport for action.
Mr Donnellan said that although two buses operated in the morning and transported 140 students, some of whom are from the Oatlands Estate, only one bus runs in the afternoon, leaving 70 students without a way of getting home.
He also presented options such as a new bus service, the diversion of a current service or an extended bus service as possible solutions to the problem.
Mr Donnellan and Berwick Secondary College are still waiting for a response from the Minister for Public Transport.
