POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a small fire in Cranbourne on the weekend.
About 6.30pm on 2 April, the CFA extinguished a fire which was lit inside a discarded dishwasher, under pine tress in grasslands 100 metres north of New Holland Drive.
Police said the CFA noticed two youths walking away from the area at the time of the incident but were unable to get a clear description.
Anyone with information about this incident or who noticed two youths in the area acting suspicious is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
