AT LAST, some muscle power in the nursery! At just over two months old, Jimmy Malin Secretan has spent more time in his mum’s nursery, Healesville Plants, than in his own.
But no-one is complaining. Jimmy, the first child of Toolangi couple, Tabitha Barclay and Chris Secretan, was born at the Royal Women’s Hospital on 18 December, 2005. Judging by that big grin, he is going to thoroughly enjoy working with mum.
With three generations of women, Tabitha, her mum, Karen Smith, and Karen’s mother, Sylvia Cameron, running the nursery, Jimmy is the fourth generation, and the only bloke, on the job.
“He really hasn’t been pulling his weight so far,” Tabitha joked, “but he could be very handy with the wheelbarrow.”
