MEN armed with baseball bats and metal poles attacked a number of people, including an Endeavour Hills man, outside a karaoke bar on the weekend.
Monash CIU detectives are investigating the incident, which occurred in an affray outside a Glen Waverley bar on Sunday morning.
Police received reports of a large fight in front of the Railway Parade licensed premises about 3am.
Police believe around 10 men were armed with baseball bats and metal poles and assaulted a large group of departing patrons before fleeing the scene.
Six men were hospitalised with head injuries, ranging from minor to serious.
