Students have the right stuff

TWO events on the one night at Narre Warren South P-12 College last week showcased the talents of students.
The college’s art festival was held on Thursday night with more than 700 creative pieces of visual arts on display during an art and technology exhibition, with dancing and musical performances in the evening.
Prep to Year 12 students displayed paintings, stencils, sculpture, photography, video, robotics and woodwork to the community.
Casey councillor Sam Aziz officially opened the evening and presented the art awards, including one to Grade 5 student Ace for his mouth paintings on canvas, Year 7 student Alicia for her creative drawings, Year 10 student Daniel for his stencil works, and overall primary student award winner Tiffany for her outstanding portrait and drawing series.
Guests then watched performances from the Get Funky dance groups, instrumental students and performances from student bands from My Tunes and Rock Ed electives.
