Hills get new bus service

A DANDENONG Ranges tourism operator has said the announcement of a new Sunday bus service from Croy
Dandenong Ranges Tourism Information Centre manager Michael Axel said the bus service would be great for weekend tourism in the Hills.
Last year, Mr Axel told the Mail that the bus services in the Hills was limiting tourism.
Monbulk MP James Merlino said that the bus service would benefit both local residents and tourists.
The Venture Bus Lines route 688 will run hourly on Sunday between 9am to 6pm, servicing the Dandenong Ranges.
This latest bus service has been announced as part of the $44 million allocated for the 2005-06 State Budget last year.
