LIBERAL MP Inga Peulich’s expensive four-page advertisement (News, 8 December) highlights both the inaction and hypocrisy of the Baillieu Government.
Ms Peulich lists the Government’s so-called achievements in health accompanied by a photo of Casey Hospital, yet the Baillieu Government has refused to match Labor’s commitment of 30 extra beds and a new surgical operating theatre for Casey.
In the advertisement, the Liberal Party claims credit for the new Royal Children’s Hospital, Pound Road upgrade and Merinda Park station car park extension, despite these projects being funded by the previous Labor Government.
And Ms Peulich shows absolute hypocrisy when she condemns the Federal Labor Government for providing our primary schools with new facilities, yet she always makes sure she is present at the openings for photo opportunities.
Come on, Inga. Do something constructive for a change.
Judith Graley,
Narre Warren South MP.
