ONE of Australia’s leading folk and jazz festival bands, Jugularity, will take centre stage at the Selby Folk Club on Friday, 2 June.
The club meets on the first Friday night of the month and features jazz and folk music in the relaxed and friendly environment of the Selby Community House.
Jugularity has been performing all around Australia for the past 18 years. The band has appeared at several festivals so far this year, including the Port Fairy Folk Festival, Brunswick Festival and the National Folk Festival.
Jugularity offers a musical comedy cabaret, mixing humour mixed with a host of musical treats.
Performances are an eclectic mix of upbeat versions of jazz, folk, blues, rap, country, gypsy and other styles of songs they have written or borrowed from other sources.
Hills residents can catch this hilarious yet harmonious band in action at the Selby Community House, Wombalana Rd, from 7.30pm on Friday, 2 June.
Entry is $7 for adults and $5 for concession card holders.
