Late night shopping in Dandenong villages

The Villages of Mount Dandenong has organised a special twilight shopping event featuring traders throughout villages in the Dandenong Ranges.

The event will run from 5pm to 8pm on on Friday 17 December at participating local businesses in Sassafras, Olinda, Mt Dandenong and Kalorama.

There will be a treasure hunt at participating shops to be in the running to win a hamper of local wares from the local traders involved.

Free passes to SkyHigh will be available for people to watch the sunset.

The Villages of Mt Dandenong is a local tourism association run by businesses throughout the Dandenong Ranges.

Suzzane Jenkin from The Olinda Collective said they are participating in the event.

“Find locally made, created and collected Christmas Gifts at Olinda Collective. Our boutique comprises of around 35 local stall holders,” she said.

“We are offering complimentary gift wrapping during December, so visit for a relaxed Christmas shopping experience.”

The Olinda Collective is a small boutique operating as a permanent market in Olinda.
