Hello Sunshine festival has revealed its 2024 line-up, with a stacked line-up featuring Grinspoon, The Veronicas, The Temper Trap, Pete Murray, Bliss N Eso, and Brad Cox.
The Wiggles will also be there, with a DJ Dorothy set featuring Anthony, John plus special guests, alongside supporting artists including local muso Jay Santilli and the world’s oldest Rockin’ DJs Rockafellas. MC Byron Cooke is also returning after hosting the 2023 main stage.
Hello Sunshine will make its a shimmering return to Caribbean Gardens on Saturday 2 March. The family friendly event will once again be an all ages affair and fully licensed.
Tickets for Hello Sunshine will go on sale Tuesday 17 October at 12:00pm AEDT, with a fan pre-sale from Thu 12 Oct 12:00pm AEDT. Sign up via www.hellosunshinefest.com.au.

Grinspoon recently released their acclaimed albums “Easy” and “New Detention” on vinyl for the first time, with both hitting #2 and #3 on the ARIA Vinyl Albums chart. Lead singer Phil Jamieson said: “2023 has been a great year for us, and we’re excited to get together for Hello Sunshine to start Grinspoon’s 2024 off just right.”
After spending some time overseas, The Veronicas will be returning to Australia for Hello Sunshine – their first local gig since 2022. They have also promised new music coming soon. The Veronicas said: “Melbourne!! We’re bringing our new music to you for 2024, as well as making this the biggest sing-a-long of all our hits Melbourne has ever seen. Can’t wait to see you Hello Sunshine!!”
Fresh off the back of his sold out Greatest Hits tour, 3-time ARIA Album Chart topper and festival fave Pete Murray will be hitting the Hello Sunshine stage. Pete Murray said: “Melbourne is like a second home to me and I can’t wait to be back for this show feeling the good vibes at Hello Sunshine!”
Four-time ARIA Award winners The Temper Trap will also be there, playing all their hits including Love Lost and seminal Aussie classic Sweet Disposition. The band said: “We are so stoked to be playing Hello Sunshine this Summer in Melbourne. See you there soon!”
Performers who took to the festival stage in 2023 included eight-time ARIA Award-winning songstress Amy Shark, festival faves The Cat Empire, rapper 360, hometown heroes the Pierce Brothers, DJs Yo! Mafia and Cadence, as well as a DJ set from Murray – the original Red Wiggle.
Aside from top-notch music, Hello Sunshine has confirmed that an array of over 20 international food trucks, a wide range of bars and beverages, over 15 carnival rides and attractions, show-stopping fireworks and market stalls by some of the best local makers, curators, and small business owners set are all on the agenda this year.
There will also be family friendly fun, including roving children’s entertainers of their favourite characters, face painting and hair braiding to ensure they are festival ready, special treats including show bags, fairy floss and snow cones, with lower price tickets available for teens and children – all making for a great Summer’s day out for people of all ages.
Since Hello Sunshine debuted in 2023 at Caribbean Gardens in Melbourne’s east at the foot of the Dandenong Ranges, the site is fast becoming Victoria’s favourite new festival grounds with Listen Out recently holding its 2023 event there over the Grand Final long weekend.
