Spring is the perfect time to fill your home or workplace with a beautiful flower arrangement to brighten up your day.

Kady Huisintveld owner of Rustic Blossom in Emerald, has been helping locals achieve just that with fresh flowers made to order and deliveries available within 10 kilometres.

But it’s not just spring time that Rustic Blossom can brighten up your day, with year round offerings of a variety of ready to go bunches, indoor plants and pots, dried arrangements, giftware and stockist of Lashlipco.

Ms Huisintveld first started the business six years ago and said opening the shop has always been a dream of hers.

“I love everything about my job – I love working with flowers every day, who wouldn’t. The variety of smells you get to enjoy and they bring so much happiness,” Ms Huisintveld said.

“I am consistently learning and evolving my trade to provide new and exciting products.”

Alongside the retail store, Rustic Blossom specialises in weddings and events and has helped many clients reach their flower goals for all types of special occasions.

“It makes my day getting positive feedback on a wedding when you get told your flowers were beyond the clients expectation – this is what drives me to get up every day, the joys that my clients get through my services.”

Ms Huisintveld has lived in the hills her whole life and has built up great relationships within the community, providing flowers to many local businesses and organisations.

The business also supports local flower farmers, with an aim of one day only stocking Australian made goods.

Christmas stock and gifts are now starting to roll in for the festive season and locals are invited to stop by to see what else is in store, as stock changes regularly.
