EDIN Selimovic reigned supreme on the Emerald Golf Course on Saturday.
Selimovic proved the master on a course rating of 69 when he came in with a great off the stick score of 3 over par 73. Off his 6 handicap, this realised a net score of 67, which gave him the November Monthly medal and the A Grade belt.
Peter Coglione won B Grade with 68 when playing off a handicap of 18. Andrew Tudor, with a handicap of 23, won C Grade with a solid 69.
Others to hold their head up were, Martin Yeats 69, Paul Thomas 70, Mango Maguire and Rick O’Shea 72, Dennis Fuller 73 while Ron Wilson and Graeme Fergus both had 74.
Captain Rod Ward had 75, which was good enough for him to win the play-off for the October medal over Mike Litchfield who had 79.
Nearest the pins were won by Thomas on the 12th, Yeats (13th), Brian McCoy (17th) while Selimovic rounded of a very successful day by taking the pro pin on the 18th.
Wednesday’s competition for the chronologically enhanced, was won by Brett Isherwood from the consistent Ron Wilson with Dennis Fuller in 3rd place.
Next week sees the last semi-final of the match play where Andrew Tudor and Greg Haymes fight for the right to face Mango Maguire in the final. The others face each other in a stableford event.
