IN THE Shire of Yarra Ranges candidate statements for the 2005 elections in the Mail last week there was an error in current councillor, Len Cox’s statement.
The statement should have read “I will work towards the protection of our beautiful environment which is paramount, a fortnightly green waste collection, Montrose public toilets, the formation of a Kilsyth Residents Group to advise council and no rate rises this council term as the council has large cash reserves.”
